July is the season here in New York where baby white tailed deer, called fawns, are born. They are seen often enough scampering around with their mothers, grazing and enjoying life. They are more prone to frolicking, and their movements are rather hysterical considering they are so lanky of limb. These two, however, were very intent on making sure I was not a threat. Once the doe decided I wasn't one she went back to browsing for food along with her fawn. 2012-2013.
