A 1954 Studebaker Commander. Probably one of my favorite cars from that year. It's such a low riding, fierce looking little critter. The owner was an elderly gentleman who proudly proclaimed that he bought and owned this exact car when it came out. When he first bought it, all of his friends made fun of him because it was such a low-riding piece of nothing that looked like it was going to fall apart instead of get you from A to B. Then, years later, everyone wanted one. :) He's happy to say he's loved it since the day he bought it. You can see him, looking down at it in the reflection of the well shined bumper. 2012-2013.

Low-riding is right. My first impression was the small ground clearance. There must be some benefit in the handling?

I love those cars! Almost any of the cars from the 20's to the 50's or so are some of my favorites.

Awesome shot :D
