I spent the 13th night camping into the 14th morning of my 2011 road trip. When we arrived to the camping location I didn't realize we had the view of Humphrey's Peak, located in Arizona, until that morning since it was so dark out. It was a pleasant night. Cold, but I have a kickass sleeping bag. There were fires, stars, weird, squeaking frogs, and giant bees. 2011-2013.
Wikipedia tells me, "Humphreys Peak was named in about 1870 for General Andrew A. Humphreys, a U.S. Army officer who was a Union general during the American Civil War, and who later became Chief of Engineers of the United States Army Corps of Engineers." I find this odd, considering that Arizona had nothing to do with the Civil War.
Seriously, though, that looks really peaceful. I would love to camp in that spot even if there are bees around. Haha.
The single bee we found was gigantic and hidden in a pile of firewood we were harvesting from a down tree.
