Description

The Met. No Flash Photography Allowed. Shot Behind Glass. Grr, it's so damn dark. However, in this case, I think it gives it a cooler effect. This was my favorite of the displayed medieval helmets. I can't imagine attempting to look out through this thing, watching the enemy approach. A bit freaky and rather claustrophobic. I'm surprised anybody survived anything back then. Heheh. © 2007-2014.
