Natural Path Through the Trees

The fifth day of my road trip across the country in 2011 found me walking through the forests of Tennessee, still carless, but with friends to drive me around. My car had been punched by a tree limb and was in an auto body shop getting repairs done to it.

The wooded areas of TN I was in were fairly young, but densely populated by trees. This was one of the rare moments when the saplings and young plants parted to give a natural view into their interior. 2011-2016.
