Just a Pere David's Stag facing me head on. Pretty cool creatures. They're, unfortunately, only in captivity and are declared extinct in the wild. They are an older species of deer, with their tall split hooves that reach almost up past their ankles and their long tails that aren't found in most other deer species. Their antlers are pretty cool, too. The front tines grow nearly straight up from the skull and the back tines travel towards the back, but never forward for either case. 2010-2013.
