Flowers and plants growing straight out of rock has always fascinated me. In reality, small little plants can pry apart mortar, rock, and stone given enough time. These were found on a rocky island right outside of Metchosin, British Columbia. 2010-2013.

I always wonder the flowers on Rocks are more beautiful rather than on lands.
They are more bright & colorful.
perhaps the struggle make them so . :) , maybe it's same for human.
