Something about a photograph, a moment of my life, speaks so deeply to me. No amount of words, I don't care how skilled you are, can capture the power of emotion. There just aren't words in the world. This moment in time happens to be one of those moments, powerful and yet natural, reflecting my emotion back at me and making it even more impressive.
We project our emotions onto the things around us. We attribute a dreary day to our upset mood, the sunny sky to a joyful experience. I attribute this sunset to how I felt. ...And look, even my horizon is straight. 2008-2013.
