Well, to say it's been a while is a mild understatement.  So much has happened in a short period of time.

I moved farther upstate in NY and bought a house.  I also am the proud owner of an English teaching position only 20 minutes from home.  I've been working myself mad, thinking every day why I became a teacher and confirming every day as to why.  It's been a rocky and long road, but I'm pursuing that life of happiness and new beginnings that I professed to chase the last time I made an update.  I'm also seeing a new guy--hoping this one works out better than the last couple.

It's such a gloriously inappropriate word, but I'm intensely busy.  I wish there was a more apt word for the amount of time I spend just trying to figure out my daily grind.  I have little time for photography because of it and even less time to put my backlog of photos up on the internet.  I will, however, try my best to get back to it and throw something, anything, up here, on Flickr, and on Facebook.  Bear with me, my friends.  I have not forgotten about you, nor will I ever.

Thanks for reading! :highfive:

Movie Review: The Fifth Element Directed by: Luc Besson - Most science fiction has a very serious tone to it, making us question good and evil, technology, the great unknown, and our humanity. The Fifth Element has all of this while inserting a great amount of laughter and fun into the mix. With ingenious precision, The Fifth Element makes for a fantastic two hours of action, social questioning, laughter, and drama all in one.

Korben Dallas is an ex-soldier struggling to get along in his NYC apartment where he lives with his cat and works as a taxi driver. All of that turns upside down when a young woman speaking a "bizarre" language drops, literally, into the backseat of his cab. Despite cops chasing him, only one point left on his license, his job as a taxi driver clearly over, he can't help but assist the young woman in her quest to find a priest by the name of Cornelius. This woman, along with four stones representing the four main elements of life, will protect earth from an ultimate personification of evil: a black planet that does nothing but destroy life. What follows is a hilarious, oftentimes nail-biting series of events that will have you wanting to watch this movie over and over!  :star::star::star::star::star:
